Some reasons mold will grow in a house
Mold is an important part of nature, as it breaks down dead organic matter. While this role is crucial outside, finding mold inside a building is a problem and must be prevented as much as possible. The reason is that mold produces tiny spores that float through the air imperceptibly to the naked eye. When these mold spores settle on a damp surface, they start to grow. While there are many types of mold, the one thing they all have in common is that they cannot develop unless they have some form of moisture.

Besides causing numerous health problems, mold will slowly damage the things it grows on. Even everyday household items such as carpets and soft furnishings could be irreparably damaged because mold has formed on them.

It will not be possible to rid a home of mold completely. However, you can do your best to prevent it from causing damage to your health and property. Because mold requires moisture to live and thrive, you can control mold growth by keeping moisture levels low. Try to reduce indoor humidity as much as possible, particularly in the more moisture-prone areas of the house, like bathrooms and the basement.
